The 21st Annual BBQ ON THE BOW Festival is a free family fun event held on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. There's something for eveyone!

Sunday, September 1 - Open to the Public
The BBQ on the Bow "Alberta Championship" - Turn-in times: 12:00 to 3:00 pm
All cooking must be done on charcoal, wood or wood pellet barbecues (also called 'Smokers' or 'Pits') - who will cook the best chicken, pork ribs, pork butt & brisket over slow burning wood or charcoal?
Talented teams of chefs from Canada and the U.S. will vie for:
- $8,200 in cash,
- $2,000 in prizes,
- trophies & ribbons and
- the title of "Alberta Grand Champion"

The BBQ On The Bow Festival is located at Eau Claire Festival Market in the city plaza between the Sheraton Hotel, YMCA, Eau Claire Market and bridge to Princes Island Park.

Parking - Free street parking all day Festival Sunday!
- The Eau Claire Impark lot at the south end of the market at 2nd Ave and 2nd St. is the closest pay lot available.
- Parking is available around the Eau Claire Festival Market site at both parking meters and a variety of paid parking lots within easy walking distance from the competition site and downtown.
