The BBQ on the Bow "Alberta Championship"
Talented teams of chefs from Canada and the U.S. will vie for over $6,500 CASH, PRIZES & TROPHIES and the title of "Alberta Champion". All cooking must be done on charcoal, wood or wood pellet barbecues (also called 'Smokers' or 'Pits'). Who can cook the best ribs, pork butt, brisket or poultry over slow burning wood or charcoal?

The Children's Craft Tent - 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Fun for kids of all ages. Join us in the Children's Craft Tent for children's activities, crafts and Just Kidding Entertainers - "Pippi and Freddy".

Main Stage Entertainment - 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Bring a chair and enjoy a great day of family entertainment on the BBQ On The Bow Festival Main Stage located on the roadway of Barclay Parade Road.

Location, Maps & Parking

The BBQ On The Bow Festival is located at Eau Claire Festival Market in the city plaza between the Sheraton Hotel, YMCA, Eau Claire Market and bridge to Princes Island Park.

  • The Eau Claire Impark lot at the south end of the market at 2nd Ave and 2nd St. is the closest pay lot available.
  • Parking is available around the Eau Claire Festival Market site at both parking meters and a variety of paid parking lots within easy walking distance from the competition site and downtown.
  • Free street parking all day Sunday.
