Volunteer Orientation:

Volunteers required for:

| Location: | Eau Claire Festival Market (by YMCA).

| Time: | 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (please be on time) |
Volunteers recieve: a T-shirt, name tag, a BBQ lunch ticket & gift bag.
Please be on time day of the event
Please call us if you are going to be late or unable to come.
Bring bottled water, sun-hat, sun-screen & jacket dress for the weather.
Positions Available
- Site Crew - Friday, Saturday & Sunday - assist with site set-up, take down & maintenance. FILLED
- Volunteer/Information Tent - sign-in volunteers, hand out t-shirts, lunch tickets, gift bags & assist public with any questions. FILLED
- Children's Craft Tent - help children with crafts. FILLED
- Kitchen Demo - assist guest chefs with sampling and hand-out recipes. FILLED
- Festival Hostess - greet public, hand-out brochures & explain what is going on in each area must be able to roam site. FILLED
- BBQ Team Helper assist BBQ Teams with maintaining clean site, bag garbage, clean sinks etc. Great if you are interested in learning how to BBQ. FILLED
- BBQ Teams Sampling Tent must have food-handling or catering experience and can work as a team. FILLED
- Street Zone Hostess greet, host & assist vendors with their set-up & tear down and anything they may require that will make their day with us fun. FILLED
- General Store - bag fresh corn for sale & assist with sales to the public. FILLED
- Stage Hand - assist Stage Manager with stage set-up and performers. FILLED
- Event Security - assist with event security, roads, backstage, load in & load out. FILLED
- Event & Site Clean-Up - bag garbage, wipe tables & ensure entire site is kept clean. FILLED

Location, Maps & Parking
The BBQ On The Bow Festival is located at Eau Claire Festival Market in the city plaza between the Sheraton Hotel, YMCA, Eau Claire Market and bridge to Princes Island Park.

- The Eau Claire Impark lot at the south end of the market at 2nd Ave and 2nd St. is the closest pay lot available.
- Parking is available around the Eau Claire Festival Market site at both parking meters and a variety of paid parking lots within easy walking distance from the competition site.
- Free street parking all day Sunday.
