Join us as a volunteer for the 2011 BBQ on the Bow!
We are always looking for volunteers to help out at this fantastic event. If you would like to become involved, please contact us through our Executive Producer via e-mail. Just send an e-mail regarding your intention to give us a hand to make this the best event ever.
Volunteer Orientation:

ALL volunteers will receive - a groovy T-shirt, a yummy BBQ lunch ticket & fab gift bag.
Positions Available
- Set-up Crew: Friday - site set-up, move table, hang signs
- Team Load In Crew: Saturday – assist with team arrivals & placement
- Site & Maintenance Crew: Saturday & Sunday – site set-up & maintenance.
- Volunteer / Information Tent: Saturday & Sunday - sign-in volunteers, hand out t-shirts, lunch tickets, gift bags & assist public with any questions.
- General Store Team: Saturday 1/2 day & Sunday - set-up, display merchandise, bag products and sell to the public.
- BBQ Teams' Helper: Saturday & Sunday – assist teams, team area maintenance.
- Special Event Teams: Friday - gift bag stuffing, Sat - vol lunch, Sat Nite - party. TBC
- Road / Event Security: Sunday - assist with event security, road barricades, backstage, team and supplier load out.
- Kitchen Demo Helpers: Sunday - assist guest chefs with sampling and hand-out recipes.
- Children's Craft Tent: Sunday - help children with crafts.
- Recycling / Garbage Collection Team: Sunday – monitor recycling and garbage bins and change out bags and move to designated areas.
- Food Patio – Table Wiping Team: Sunday – wipe patio tables, change out bags in patio recycling and garbage bins.
- Roving Festival Hostesses: Sunday - greet public & vendors, hand-out festival brochures, know what is going on in each area and act as helpers to Volunteer & Street Zone Co-ordinators. Must be mobile and able to roam entire festival site.
- Team Leader / Co-ordinator: – pick any area of interest from above.

Just be on time day of the event OR call us if you are going to be late or unable to come.
AND don't forget to dress for the weather, bring your own water bottle & mini first aid kit.
